Monday Music and Karl's Top 7 - Kanye West Tunes

This week I'm combining Monday Music with Karl's Top 7 to give you the the seven best Kanye West songs. With Kanye being my favorite rapper, I felt he was worth picking seven songs for.

7. Diamonds from Sierra Leone (Remix)
The Ratatat remix of this song is also sick, but this is the best version of the song. Like Kanye later said on Big Brother "on that Diamonds remix, I swore I would spaz, then my big brother came through and kicked my ass". And he does - Jay-Z is at his best on this song.

6. New Workout Plan
I included two videos for this one, the first is the uncensored song, and the second is the video. I will go on record as saying this is Kanye's best music video, but I needed to include the original version because they edit way too much out in the video

5. Can't Tell Me Nothing
This a sick song, but this video just takes it over the top. I guarantee you will not regret watching this video.

4. Power (Remix)
Don't get me wrong, Power is a sick song on it's own, but the remix is the shit. Having Hova on a track is never a bad thing, and Kanye kills it in the added verse. And Swizz Beatz is here to because why not.

3. Jesus Walks
One of Kanye's first major singles, Jesus Walks still stands up as one of his best.

2. Gold Digger
Between this and Slow Jamz, Jamie Foxx proves that he is awesome. His own album? Not so much.

1. Runaway
I'll start by saying My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is the best rap album of all time, and this is my favorite song off the album (though the album works best as a whole, every song is great). He goes a little overboard at the end, but it's a great song about who he knows he's a douche bag.
