Karl's Top 7 - Shows on TV

This is the first entry in Karl's Top 7, listing the top seven in any and all categories. I'm starting with my seven favorite shows that are currently on TV, listed from seventh place to first.

 7. How I Met Your Mother
Barney Stinson is the definition of legen- wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant-dary. The show manages to be consistently funny without requiring that you watch every episode. Great show for watching hungover.

6. Dexter
A year ago, this probably would have been higher on the list, but I haven't kept up with the most recent season, and have started watching other shows. I still want to finish the most recent season, and want to see future seasons as well, but it isn't the must watch show that it used to be.

5. Wheel of Fortune
Though it's main purpose is to lead into a far better show, Wheel on it's own is still pretty good. Great show to warm you up for the show directly following it, though it's still a little too luck based to be great. Pat Sajak is a fucking boss though, no way around it.

4. The Office
Though the most recent season hasn't been as good as past seasons, it is still one of my favorite comedies on television. Dwight is still hilarious, and Daryl, Andy and Creed are all gems in their own right as well.

3. Pawn Stars
The show I've started watching most recently, Pawn Stars is awesome because you get to learn about a lot of cool shit, like old cars and weapons and shit. The old man is a boss, Big Hoss and Chumlee are lame, Rick can be both awesome and lame, depending on the situation.

2. Community
I've been trying to get everyone I know to watch Community, it's easily the best comedy currently on television, and I want to make sure it doesn't get canceled, because I can't go through what I went through with Arrested Development again. Troy and Abed = comedy genius.

1. Jeopardy!
You knew there couldn't be another show in this spot. Jeopardy! is the best television program to ever be on television, bar none. It actually requires skill to win and you learn a ton by watching. This is the only show that I have to watch every day, or else I'll go into withdrawal. Alex Trebek is a hero to some, a god to others. Ken Jennings is a master of life, and I can't wait to see him and the other guy take on that computer in February.
